Usually verb has the same stem for singular and for plural and verb stem expresses the number of subject or agent. But exist some verbs named suppletive verbs, which have absolutely different stem for singular and for plural; and some of suppletive verbs express in their stem the number of object but not the subject or agent. Here you can see a short list of such verbs:

Arapa sing./Paye plur. – ‘to go’; here in the stem is expressed number of subject or agent

A sing./Rok plur. – ‘to sit’ -

An sing./Oka plur. – ‘to be’, ‘to live’, ‘to exist’ -

Ek sing./Araki plur. – ‘to come’ -

Rayke sing./Ronnu plur. – ‘to kill’; here as you may already learnt in the verb stem is expressed the number of object.

This interesting aspect of Aynu language hasn’t been yet seriously learnt.
